Tenniscore: 5 looks to sew to adopt the summer trend!

The tenniscore trend refers to an aesthetic more than a real sporting inspiration; it doesn't focus so much on technical clothing as on a look.

In line with the "quiet luxury" trend, which promotes a style that is both discreet and luxurious, and "old money" which is inspired by the wardrobe of students from good families, outfits inspired by the world of tennis (but also golf and the equestrian world) aim to capture the codes of these sports that we associate with high society.

But fashion is no longer hesitant to distance itself from this first-degree preppy image: Lacoste is brightening up its collections with more colorful outfits and reworked volumes, the Casablanca brand is taking on the iconography of the clubhouse in a kitsch and refreshing way, and the Miu Miu brand has been putting the spotlight for several seasons on pleated skirts (very very shortened), small polo shirts and slightly loose jackets in a sharp style dear to the brand.

When my photographer Charlène Pélut asked me if I was up for lending some Maison Fauve clothes and posing in the shoot she was organizing for the spirits brand Maison Cornut , whose images were built around the tenniscore trend , I obviously jumped at the chance!

Roland Garros has just ended, the Olympic Games are in preparation, the divine Zendaya stars in the film Challengers which has tennis as a backdrop and has treated us to outfits as inspiring as they are extravagant...

Game, set and match, come with me into the Maison Fauve locker room revisited by Charlène!

Who says tennis outfit, says Malibu polo shirt ;)

With its tangy stripes and pretty cropped cut, the Malibu tennis polo shirt and Berlingot fabrics are the absolute hit of this shoot. And this year's surge of sporty chic look images confirmed that I was spot on when I launched our new couture box !

Ingrid, the co-founder of Maison Cornut, had planned pleated lycra skirts as well as accessories to perfect our look. Suffice it to say that while our credibility is questionable, we have an undeniably more fun look than our neighbors on the courts ;)

Line judge with assumed elegance

In a Smoky Blue Mimosa jacket and an Ink Malibu polo shirt , Ingrid looks just perfect. This outfit is elegant, with a little twist that means it doesn't take itself too seriously. The soft blue and navy go very well together, with the white of the stripes tying the two together.

Between sorbet tones and neon yellow, I am the most tangy player in the tournament

The Malibu women's polo shirt pairs perfectly with our Sorbet pinstriped cotton voile. Light as a breath, very comfortable, it adds a touch of retro-chic that's totally on point. With my Grand Bain shorts in Sulfide Yellow lamé fabric, I navigate the sweetness of pastel colors and the vibrancy of bright yellow, which is so dear to me this season.

Monochrome and a mix of materials, I love this outfit that I showed you at the launch of the Diabolo Fauve capsule : the Dandelion jacket and the matching Grand Bain shorts in Mint lamé, and the Malibu polo shirt that completes the ensemble. Not sure I'll last the duration of a game, but sure I'll be ready to cheer on the players!

I loved this photoshoot, a thousand thanks to Ingrid from Maison Cornut and Charlène for their trust and these magnificent images. Like a fashion editorial, I enjoyed creating very straightforward looks. And summer will be the prettiest playground for wearing my clothes in a more everyday style. It's your turn!

Oh la la, tout ce que j’adore chez Maison Fauve ! Un look pointu, énergie, modernité, féminité et un brin d’impertinence assumée…
