The Calypso Coat : With its worked collar (optional depending on the desired style) and its cut at the perfect length, the Paletot Calypso combines elegance and simplicity. Its clean line is embellished with patch pockets with flaps and darts that nicely structure the silhouette. The jacket is fully lined, with well-defined sleeves thanks to the installation of sleeve head cigarettes and a false buttoned tab.

Versions : Optional collar and adjustable back: choose a gathered back for a feminine and chic touch, or a minimalist straight back, enhanced by a small structuring flap. 2 fabrics to choose from: chic and understated black lightweight tweed or houndstooth wool for a retro look.

Sewing level : INTERMEDIATE. The technical points covered are sewing a hollow dart, making gathers, setting up a collar, patching pockets and lining a jacket.

A complete kit to make your Calypso overcoat: the Calypso sewing pattern in a pretty embellished pouch with detailed instructions in an illustrated booklet to sew your garment, a piece of quality fabric ( choice of black lightweight tweed or houndstooth wool) , black Pop ankle boot buttons, a piece of cupro lining (beaver in the houndstooth version and navy blue in the tweed version) , thread, a pair of sleeve cap cigarettes, suitable iron-on adhesive.

Black lightweight tweed: Width: 145 cm. Weight: 330 g/m2. 46% cotton, 43% polyamide, 6% acrylic, 3% other fibers, 2% wool. Made in France. Care: overlock the edges of your coupon before putting it in the washing machine. Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, preferably in a laundry net. Delicate spin, 400 rpm maximum. Do not tumble dry. Iron at a low temperature on the reverse side or by interposing a fine cotton-type cloth to avoid shining the fabric and damaging the ribbons that give the fabric its relief.

Houndstooth wool : Width: 144 cm. Weight: 350 gr/m2. 97% virgin wool, 3% polyamide. Origin Italy. Care: Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry. Iron at low temperature. Dry clean before hydrocarbon solvent only. Do not bleach. We recommend carrying out a wash test at a professional and especially not washing before.
