I am already a Maison Fauve customer, how do I join the Fauve Club?

As a customer, you are automatically part of the Fauve Club and your account has been credited with 10 welcome points to thank you for your loyalty. You can access your loyalty account by clicking on “Log in”:

I am not a customer, how can I join the Fauve Club?

All you need to do is create a customer account by clicking on the "Create an account" button in your loyalty area to start accumulating points:

I have already ordered from Maison Fauve, have I accumulated points?

The loyalty program was launched on May 4, 2022. You have not accumulated points on purchases made before this date. However, we have credited you with 10 welcome points to thank you for your loyalty. You can check the amount of your kitty in your loyalty area by being logged in to your customer account:

How long are my points valid?

Loyalty points can be accumulated without any time limit.

How do I use my points?

You can convert your sewing points into vouchers: €5 voucher from 150 points accumulated, €10 voucher from 300 points accumulated and €20 voucher from 600 points accumulated .

Once you have generated enough points, you can convert them into vouchers from your loyalty area by logging into your customer account:

Can I combine several vouchers?

You cannot use multiple promotional codes on the same order. It is not possible to combine your loyalty voucher with the code BIENVENUE10 for example. However, you can definitely use your voucher on a discounted or sale item.

What products is my voucher valid for?

Your voucher is valid on pocket patterns, PDF patterns, fabrics, haberdashery and boxes. It is obviously not valid on items available for free download: free patterns, lookbooks, L'Œil Fauve magazines.

Does my voucher include shipping costs?

Your voucher does not include shipping costs. If you order a box of Femme Fauve sewing labels for €4.90 with your €5 voucher, you will not get a €0.10 discount on shipping costs. You will have to pay them in full .

Can I use my loyalty voucher multiple times?

Your voucher is only valid once, even if it is not used in full. If you buy a box of Femme Fauve sewing labels for €4.90 with your €5 voucher, you will not be able to reuse the €0.10 on a future order.

Am I limited in the number of referrals?

Not at all! You can refer as many friends as you want. To share your referral link with several friends, simply enter their email addresses separated by a comma, without a space.

Paper pattern

- What will I receive if I buy a pocket pattern?

You will receive a full-size pattern printed on sturdy paper (100g/m2), it is ready to use, seam allowances included, with all the gradation sizes. You will also have an illustrated assembly brochure. The pattern is packaged in a decorated cardboard envelope, with a soft touch finish.

The pattern pieces do not overlap and most of our patterns are multi-option.

Several of our bosses grade from 34 to 52, or even from 34 to 56.

A pattern that grades from 34 to 56 and with several garment options weighs up to 600 g.

Your patterns are sent to you in France at home by Colissimo or at a relay point by Chronopost shop2shop and abroad by Delivengo (La Poste group) or Mondial Relay. We avoid the letter format which is not suitable for our products, and does not allow tracking and security of the shipment. Please note that the choice of relay point can only be made after validation of your order (and the list available on the site is provided and imposed by Mondial Relay according to the availability of relay points, this can therefore vary between each order).

The cost of shipping is strictly the one applied to us by these 2 carriers, there is no additional cost from Maison Fauve. The amount invoiced varies according to the weight of your order.

Please find attached the scale of shipping costs indicated by the carrier.

- What levels do the bosses have?

We have patterns suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced. We try to integrate intermediate techniques even for beginner patterns, but always as options. This way, you will always have the opportunity to improve and learn new things, little by little! Tutorials are also a great way to learn! You will find on the blog photo and video tutorials of the patterns, Beginners have no more excuses!

PDF Patterns

What is a PDF pattern?

This is an electronic pattern that you will need to download, print and then assemble.

How do I place my order?

Select from our selection of PDF patterns in the shop. Click on add to cart from the product sheet. Confirm your order and pay.

Automatically, after validating your order you can click on "download my files" to retrieve your patterns.

You can also find all of your files in your customer account by clicking on the order number then on "my pdf patterns".

Print

Our PDF patterns are available in 3 formats:

A0: This is a large format, not compatible with home printers. You must go to a copier/reprographer to have it printed.
US letter size is the standard printer size in North America.
A4 is the classic sheet size in France. This is the size you should print with your home printer.

To print your pattern, click on the printer icon or via the File -> Print menu.

In the window that opens, check the following options:
– In the “Pages to print” section: all
– In the “Page Sizing and Management” section: Actual size

These settings allow you to print only the 1st page, now check the test square to make sure it measures the indicated size.

Assemble

It is normal that there are white “margins” on your print. You must keep them. You must tape your sheets edge to edge. The pattern is assembled from left to right. Some pdf patterns include an assembly plan to guide you. You can extend your tracings by hand if you wish.

Cut out

Check your size using the size chart and cut according to the dotted lines of your size. If you want to keep all your sizes I recommend tracing the pattern.

Sew

And there you have it! All you have to do is transfer your pattern onto your fabric and start sewing!
To obtain an optimal result, make a quick TOILE which will confirm the size, and will allow you to perfectly adjust the pattern to your body shape.

What does the PDF file contain?

In the PDF file, you will receive the pattern sheet in A4 format (the sheets will be assembled according to the numbering), A0 (actual size format) and US Letter (the North American printing format). As well as the illustrated pattern assembly brochure,

Is a PDF Exchangeable or Refundable?

No. Given the digital nature of the product, a PDF is neither exchangeable nor refundable.

Gradations & Measurements

How do I take my measurements so that the model fits my size?

For tops and dresses, the main measurement is the chest circumference, which is taken at the tip of the breasts, with your "usual" bra.

For skirts and pants, the most important measurements are the waist measurement, taken at the narrowest point, and the hip measurement, taken at the widest point.

What size to choose?

To choose your size, use the measurement chart below.

For fitted models, it is always best to make a toile before the final version.

The height used is 165 cm for gradation 36.

Gift card

I received a gift card! How does it work?

Gift cards are valid for one year on the entire eshop! When ordering, simply enter your gift card code to use the voucher.

It is of course possible to complete a purchase with another payment method, if your gift card does not cover the total amount of the order!

Likewise, if the amount of your order is less than the amount of the voucher, you can use the remaining credit on another order.

The gift card product is not eligible for any discount code, discount or welcome offer.

Are seam allowances included?

Seam allowances are included in the pocket and PDF patterns, as well as hem allowances. Seam allowances are 1 cm unless otherwise stated on the pattern brochure.

I am a beginner, which pattern would you recommend?

All beginner level models: The Sirocco top, The Granite sweatshirt, the Violette Blouse.

What should I do before sewing the hems?

Before hemming, always try on the garment to make any final length adjustments.

How long will it take for me to be delivered?

Packages are shipped within a maximum of 2 days after receipt of payment (except orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). They are shipped via the post office and Mondial Relay, and are therefore subject to their delivery times. We cannot guarantee the delivery times of the carriers, delivery delays once your order has been handed over to the carrier are beyond our control.

Can I sell my creations?

No. Any resale of clothing from Maison Fauve models is illegal. The patterns are for strictly personal and private use. Any representation or reproduction in whole or in part, made without the consent of Maison Fauve, is illegal (law of March 11, 1957, paragraph 1 of article 40).

Can I post photos of my work on social media/blog?

Yes, of course! Don't forget to tag us and add the hashtags #nomdumodelle (for example #robeniki) #maisonfauve so we can see your beautiful creations!! You can also find on our Pinterest account Maison Fauve the sewing posted by other seamstresses.
