I am already a Maison Fauve customer, how do I join Club Fauve?

As a customer, you are automatically part of Club Fauve and your account has been credited with 10 welcome points to thank you for your loyalty. You can access your loyalty account by clicking on “Connect”:

I am not a customer, how do I join Club Fauve?

All you have to do is create a customer account by clicking on the “Create an account” button in your loyalty area to start accumulating points:

I have already ordered from Maison Fauve, have I accumulated points?

The loyalty program was launched on May 4, 2022. You have not accumulated points on purchases made before this date. However, we have credited you with 10 welcome points to thank you for your loyalty. You can view the amount of your prize pool in your loyalty area while connected to your customer account:

How long are my points valid?

Loyalty points can be accumulated without time limit.

How do I use my points?

You can convert your sewing points into vouchers: €5 voucher from 150 accumulated points, €10 voucher from 300 accumulated points and €20 voucher from 600 points accumulated .

As soon as you have generated enough points, you can transform them into vouchers from your loyalty area by being connected to your customer account:

Can I combine several vouchers?

You cannot use multiple promotional codes on the same order. It is not possible to accumulate your loyalty voucher with the code BIENVENUE10 for example. However, you can definitely use your voucher on a discounted or sale item.

On which products is my voucher valid?

Your voucher is valid for pocket patterns, PDF patterns, fabrics, haberdashery and boxes. It is obviously not valid on items for free download: free patterns, lookbooks, L'Œil Fauve magazines.

Does my voucher take into account shipping costs?

Your voucher does not take into account shipping costs. If you order a box of Femme Fauve sewing labels for €4.90 with your €5 voucher, you will not receive a €0.10 discount on shipping costs. You will have to pay it in full .

Can I use my loyalty voucher in several installments?

Your voucher is only valid once, even if it is not fully spent. If you buy a box of Femme Fauve sewing labels for €4.90 with your €5 voucher, you will not be able to reuse the €0.10 on a future order.

Am I limited in the number of sponsorships?

No way ! You can sponsor as many friends as you want. To share your referral link with several friends, simply enter the email addresses separated by a comma, without spaces.

Paper pattern

- What will I receive if I buy a cover pattern?

You will receive a full-size pattern printed on sturdy paper (100g/m2), it is ready to use, seam allowances included, with all gradation sizes. You will also have an illustrated assembly brochure. The pattern is packaged in a decorated cardboard envelope with a soft touch finish.

Pattern pieces do not overlap and most of our patterns are multi-option.

Several of our bosses grade from 34 to 52, even 34 to 56.

A pattern that grades from 34 to 56 and with several clothing options weighs up to 600 g.

Your patterns are sent to your home in France by Colissimo or to a relay point by Chronopost shop2shop and abroad by Delivengo (La Poste group) or Mondial Relay. We avoid the letter format which is not suitable for our products, and does not allow tracking and security of the shipment. Note that the choice of relay point can only be made after validation of your order (and the list available on the site is provided and imposed by Mondial Relay depending on the availability of relay points, this may therefore vary between each order) .

The cost of shipping is strictly that applied to us by these 2 carriers, there is no additional cost on the part of Maison Fauve. The amount charged varies depending on the weight of your order.

- What levels do the bosses have?

We have patterns suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced. We try to incorporate intermediate techniques even for beginner patterns, but always as options. This way, you will always have the opportunity to improve and learn new things, little by little! Tutorials are also a great way to learn! You will find photo and video tutorials of the patterns on the blog. Beginners have no more excuses!

PDF patterns

What is a PDF pattern?

It is a pattern in electronic format that you will need to download, print and then assemble.

How do I place my order?

Select in the store from our selection of patterns in PDF format . Click on add to cart from the product sheet. Confirm your order and pay.

Automatically, after validation of your order you can click on “download my files” to retrieve your patterns.

You can also find all of your files in your customer account by clicking on the order number then on “my pdf patterns”.

Print

Our PDF patterns are available in 3 formats:

A0: It is a large format, not compatible with home printers. You must go to a copyist/reprographer to have it printed.
The US letter format is the standard format for printers in North America.
The A4 format is the classic sheet format in France. This is the format that you should print with your home printer.

To print your pattern, click on the printer icon or via the File -> print menu.

In the window that opens, check the following options:
– In the “Pages to print” section: all
– In the “Page sizing and management” section: Actual size

These settings allow you to print only the 1st page. Now check the test square by checking that it measures the indicated size.

Assemble

It is normal that there are white “margins” on your print. They must be preserved. You need to tape your sheets edge to edge. The pattern is assembled from left to right. Some pdf patterns include an assembly plan to guide you. If you wish, you can extend your lines by hand.

Cut out

Check your size using the size chart and cut according to the dotted line of your size. If you want to keep all your sizes I recommend that you trace the pattern.

Sew

And There you go! All you have to do is transfer your pattern to your fabric and sew!
To obtain an optimal result, make a quick CANVAS which will confirm the size, and allow you to perfectly adjust the pattern to your body shape.

What does the PDF file contain?

In the PDF file, you will receive the pattern sheet in A4 format (the sheets will be assembled according to numbering), A0 (full size format) and US Letter (the North American printing format). As well as the illustrated pattern assembly brochure,

Is a PDF Exchangeable or Refundable?

No. Given the digital nature of the product, a PDF is neither exchangeable nor refundable.

Gradations & Measurements

How do I take my measurements so that the model corresponds to my size?

For tops and dresses, the main measurement is the chest measurement, which should be taken at the point of the breasts, with your "usual" bra.

For skirts and pants, it is the waist measurement, which is taken at the narrowest point, and the pelvis measurement, which is taken at the widest point, which are the most important.

What size to choose?

To choose your size, use the measurement grid below to help you.

For fitted models, it is always preferable to make a canvas before the final version.

The height used is 165 cm for gradation 36.

How to adapt a pattern and at what levels?

Gift card

I received a gift card! How it works ?

Gift cards are valid for one year throughout the eshop! When ordering, simply enter your gift card code to redeem the voucher.

It is of course possible to complete a purchase with another payment method, if your gift card does not cover the total amount of the order!

Likewise, if the amount of your order is less than that of the voucher, you can use the remaining credit on another order.

Are seam allowances included?

Sewing allowances are included in the pocket and PDF patterns, as well as hem allowances. The seam allowances are 1 cm unless otherwise stated in the pattern brochure.

I'm a beginner, which pattern would you recommend?

All beginner level models: The Sirocco top, The Granite sweatshirt, The Violet blouse.

What should I do before sewing hems?

Before making your hems, you should always try the garment on to make any final length adjustments.

How long will it take for me to be delivered?

Packages are shipped within a maximum of 2 days after receipt of payment (except orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). They are sent via post and Mondial Relay, and are therefore subject to their deadlines. We cannot guarantee carrier times; delivery delays once your order has been handed over to the carrier are beyond our control.

Can I sell my creations?

No. Any resale of clothing from Maison Fauve models is illegal. The patterns are for strictly personal and private use. Any representation or reproduction in whole or in part, made without the consent of Maison Fauve, is illegal (law of March 11, 1957, paragraph 1 of article 40).

Can I post photos of my creations on social media/blog?

Yes of course ! Don't forget to tag us and add the hashtags #nomdumodel (for example #robeniki) #maisonfauve so we can see your beautiful creations!! You can also find the cousettes posted by other seamstresses on our Maison Fauve Pinterest account.
