A pretty underwear that allows everything...hello pretty BLUSH! (and its video tutorial...)

There are projects that are on your mind, but that you tell yourself you'll look into later...and that's the story of this new pattern! I present to you BLUSH, the new kid on the block from Maison Fauve that will be your little tip to slip right next to you. And since I love you so much, and sewing should be easy peasy, the video tutorial is at the end of this article! When Tamara 's pattern came out this winter, many of you wanted to sew this pretty dress in fabrics that had a bit of transparency. And you asked me for advice on how to line it. But it's not easy to line this type of model without altering the cut, and especially without using too much fabric. Likewise, when I sewed a new version in the spring in a lemon fabric on a white background, you were worried about how to manage the transparency. And then... I don't know about you, but I have a big weakness for openwork fabrics, English embroidery, lace, guipure, veils... light or very embroidered fabrics but which have in common that they sometimes reveal a lot of your body underneath. And the option of lining your garment can be tedious, even unsuitable, which will alter the fall of your pretty outfit. A slip dress , also adaptable as a camisole, is the smartest solution. And this idea that was running through my head, well I rolled up my sleeves and made a little room for it! I saw it as a basic that would quickly become a wardrobe essential, because whether it's under a ready-to-wear garment that you love but the brand didn't think it was useful to slip in a little slip dress, or a hand-sewn garment in a fabric that you love but that risks showing too much, the pretty BLUSH pattern is perfect! A marked V-neckline, but wearable with a bra…and since you are the one sewing it, adapt your strap according to the desired wear. I sewed my 2 versions in the sublime pearly and navy blue viscose crepes from Eglantine et Zoé , which means that my versions are also completely wearable without anything on top, if you want to add a lingerie touch to your outfit. Because even on its own, BLUSH is the perfect all-purpose top, a little sexy, to slip under a cardigan or worn with a loose sweater. With English seam finishes, and the possibility of adding or not a small ring, it is a very neat little piece, and which, if you choose a precious fabric, will be a little jewel to slip under all your outfits ;) I wear it under my PANAMA blouse , and undermy ZENITH dress (a marvel that just fell from mac' that I will present to you very very soon...). So, under which little jewel are you going to put your BLUSH...anything goes!
