Sewing pattern tutorial: How to make the Chelsea blouse?

Here is a model that has the discreet charm of those who advance stealthily but hide their game well… The Chelsea pattern is an adorable blouse pattern with the pretty Fauve details that make the difference: a play of stitched pleats on the sleeve head and pleated work on the front bust. Its length allows it to be tucked into pants and its slightly fitted line is flattering and comfortable.

In order to make this pattern accessible to different sewing levels, we suggest you choose the option with or without a pleat on the front bust. Similarly, you can mount a buttoned cuff with a tear-proof slit or a simple cuff assembled like a sleeve bracelet.

I chose to use the midnight blue Lemon viscose twill fabric and made the buttoned cuffs with the matching midnight blue sequin buttons (because in life we need sequins, right ;)).

Happy sewing with the beautiful Chelsea, in graphic prints or plain colors, I'm sure she'll seduce you!
