The Fauve bob: the video tutorial is available!

The Fauve bob is a free PDF pattern that uses little fabric. Until now, it had a step-by-step photo , available on our website, for a lined version with an interior finish edged with bias binding.

In order to help you make it even easier, we are happy to offer you a new video tutorial dedicated to the Fauve bob, with a little "extra": the assembly range presented in the video allows you to sew a lined AND reversible bob !

I entrusted this mission to Tessa, the intern (and future work-study student) in sewing that we welcome to the workshop. Tessa is at a beginner to intermediate sewing level , and she took up the challenge of sewing the Fauve bob with flying colors.

List of supplies

For this version, we chose our ecru Botanica jacquard , currently on sale, and for the lining, the Encre cotton voile , very comfortable for summer: breathable, easy to sew, its color echoes the little blue flowers of the jacquard. All the pieces of the bob are to be cut in the fabric AND in the lining. All the fabric and lining pieces are heat-sealed for a better hold with VlieselineG700 .
