Leaf peony Melba, the sweetest wrap dress

Like a desire for softness around here, and especially a great opportunity to sew myself a brand new dress... To celebrate my 40th birthday! (ouch... It stings just writing it).

Wearing a hand-sewn dress that I created, with fabrics that I designed , is clearly the most beautiful way for me to celebrate this anniversary, and it is also a little look back at my adventure with Maison Fauve. And it is an immense happiness, and above all a crazy dream: if someone had told me at 30 that I would be in this place today, I would not have believed it!

So here it is, I present to you the beautiful Leaf dress , sewn in our Pivoine Melba viscose in such soft tones. Its backless neckline always makes me fall in love, and its apparent simplicity makes it a real classic in my summer wardrobe.

This sewing project was also the opportunity to shoot Leaf's video tutorial ( find it HERE ). Without zip or buttoning, it is less complicated than it seems ;)
