Rafale windbreaker sewing pattern - Pouch pattern

The RAFALE windbreaker combines the classic, timeless design of an outerwear garment with Maison Fauve's signature attention to detail. Your face will be well protected by a lined hood embellished with a small visor and tightened with a drawstring.

The cut is structured by worked cuts and yokes, an impeccably cut sleeve highlighted with small darts, a large kangaroo pocket with a trompe l'oeil flap (you can slip your hands in but not open the pocket from above) and a comfortable length. Practical and stylish, it will reinvent itself according to the choice of fabrics and your outfits.

Sewing Level : ADVANCED . The technical points of the pattern are: making French seams and folded seams, adding an invisible zipper, adding elastic and sewing rounded areas and darts. The pattern does not present any significant technical difficulties but it does have a lot of pieces.

• 1 invisible zip of 40 cm

• 60 cm of lining (for the hood)

• 5 buttons of approximately 12 mm

• 35 cm of G700 type iron-on adhesive

• 2 x 30 cm of elastic, 2 cm high

Soft, lightweight fabrics between 70 and 200g/m2, such as fine denim, coated or water-repellent fabrics, but also fine gabardine, medium-weight twill, and cotton sateen. For the hood lining, a cotton voile will be the most comfortable.

The pattern does not include a lining, the interior finishes are impeccable thanks to the French and folded seams.
