Belle Épine top sewing pattern - Pouch pattern

Belle Épine is a little top with bohemian charm and a decidedly summery look. Delicate and very feminine, it stands out with its dart detail that radiates across the chest, its V-neckline in the front and back (the cutout of which allows you to wear a bra), its pretty tie straps and its shaped and gathered ruffle. The pattern is fully lined, and the top underneath is constructed with classic bust darts. An unlined version is also possible thanks to neckline cleaning pieces. Perfect companion for hot summer days, the pattern is available in several versions: with or without ruffle, with or without lining, so you can vary your model as you wish.  This sewing pattern is very easy to sew, with pretty finishes, in short... Irresistible!

The Belle Épine pattern is sized from 34 to 52. The measurement chart for the finished garment is available in the product photos. Emilie wears Belle Épine in size 36, Isabelle in size 40, and Vanina in size 50.

• Fabric for a width of 140 cm:

Top with ruffle : 34-42: 100 cm, 44-50: 110 cm, 52: 120 cm

Top without frill : 34-36: 65 cm, 38-44: 80 cm, 46-50: 100 cm, 52: 115 cm

Top and bottom : 34-48: 60cm, 50: 80cm, 52: 100cm

• 35 cm of iron-on adhesive

To sew the top in our shell lace , the fabric consumption is identical taking into account the direction of the width to have the shell patterns like those presented on the sewn clothes

Lightweight fabrics (80 to 200 g/m2) with varying degrees of hold depending on the desired effect on the ruffles. Your fabric must be ironable and not lose its shape too much: viscose, tencel, cotton, crepe, poplin, satin, or twill. Openwork fabrics like lace are also interesting because the pattern includes a lining.
