Sewing pattern tutorial: How to sew the Tempête blouse?
With its draped collar and pretty pleats stitched on the shoulders, the Tempête blouse has a crazy charm. Available in a long-sleeved version with a buttoned cuff and a bottom of the sleeve embellished with pleats, you can also sew the Tempête blouse pattern in a sleeveless version, the armhole will then be finished with the trims provided in your sewing pattern.
For an optimal rendering of the draped effect, we recommend fabrics such as viscose twill , viscose poplin , but also Botanica or Coquillage lace. Your blouse will have a little more hold, and the collar will be nicely highlighted. Due to the construction of the garment, I do not recommend lining your blouse, but rather slipping a camisole in a matching tone underneath, like the Blush camisole pattern sewn in cotton voile .
The pattern is classified as intermediate level , we accompany you at each stage of sewing the long sleeve version in a dedicated free sewing step-by-step guide.
