The patch pocket is a very simple element to assemble, and perfect for embellishing your work before moving on to pockets with a more complicated design such as Italian pockets, piped pockets, etc.

This mini video tutorial will show you a method to prepare and sew a patch pocket on a garment. This is the back pocket of the Hussard jeans, but this is valid for any type of pocket.
