Mia: the most Fauve couture box of the season

It's not one, not two, but three surprises that I'm presenting to you today, and believe me, holding my tongue will have been a real torture ;)
Every year at this time we offer you a new pattern, a gem that will make the end-of-year celebrations swing (and more!). After the Tamara dress and the Sonia dress , it's the pretty Mia who enters the dance. But be careful, she's not alone on the front of the stage.
The success of our beginner sewing box launched in the spring with the Palma top pattern and our first collection of fabrics , we wanted to offer you this format again: a sewing box that brings together an exclusive pattern, the necessary fabric footage in a brand new pattern and the appropriate haberdashery (Microtex needle, Mettler sewing thread matching the fabric, Vlieseline G700 iron-on adhesive, pretty branded label), all presented in a pretty box with a sticker in the colors of the "In The Mood for Fauve" collection... A real ready-to-sew box!
Let me first introduce you to the brand new boss, the beautiful Mia.
It's a real marvel and this model is part of the continuity of the sewing patterns that we offer you at Maison Fauve: available in its pocket with a theme worked around the universe of the season, graded from 34 to 52, with its video tutorial and above all multi options!
The pattern is inspired by actress Mia Farrow, pixie cut and Rosemary's baby period, but also by new wave actress Jean Seberg or Faye Dunaway, Bonnie and Clyde period: we think they are naive, but they have character. Depending on the version you choose to sew, you will have either a babydoll dress or a blouse with an ultra-assertive look with its large scarf collar.
Because Mia is a blouse or dress with a flared line that flatters all silhouettes and gives it a soft and airy fall. You will have the possibility of making a mandarin collar and a trompe l'oeil scarf-style collar, 2 sleeve finishes (buttoned or not) and above all a back neckline to fall over but which will adapt to your desires because there is the possibility of sewing either a wise neckline although very eye-catching (and bra compatible), or a more plunging ultra feminine neckline.
Who says sewing kit says pretty fabric, so it's time to reveal our new Leo print available in 2 colors. This revisited animal skin pattern is a mega favorite both for its design which diverts the classic leopard and in its colors which are those that I could find on the packaging of the patterns of the new collection: ruby red, sand beige, deep black and emerald green.
The Léo fabric is a viscose twill or serge that is characterized by the oblique line effect of its weave, its softness, its opacity and its perfect drape for sewing blouses, dresses, soft pants and skirts like the Kim skirt. Printed in France in a factory labeled STeP by OEKO-TEX (I give you the details of this label here ), it is a very beautiful fabric that we are proud to offer you in the sewing box but also for sale in fabric by the meter
This pretty DIY sewing box is available in blouse or dress version, from 34 to 52, with the Léo rubis or emerald fabric of your choice. The Mia sewing pattern is also available individually in pocket format only (no PDF release planned for winter 2022).
