1. Flirty look in Cliff Coat and lace dress (Intermediate level)

The Cliff coat is an elegant and comfortable model, with an enveloping cut. Perfect for keeping you warm despite the little lace dress hidden underneath, I chose the very cozy Anthracite Grey Chiné version, which contrasts with the ultra-femininity of the Cicadella dress in Botanica Green Scarab lace and my little black patent ankle boots. This version of Cicadella is sewn from the blouse pattern hacked into a dress as described in this sewing step-by-step guide accessible even to beginner seamstresses .

    2. Bohemian look in Tigris Coat (Intermediate level)

The Tigris coat is a piece that does not lack allure with its straight cut, its shoulders highlighted by a buttoned tab and its officer collar. Tigris can be sewn in a long or short version. It is the long version, very elegant, that I chose for this look. With my Cuba Libre dress with romantic accents in our Panache Mauve viscose poplin, beautiful high boots and a pretty wide-brimmed hat, this bohemian look with 70's accents is very successful.

      3. Warm for mid-season in a Dandelion jacket (Intermediate level)

The Dandelion model is a bomber jacket with a timeless cut. Neither too short nor too fitted, its cut is softened by a play of pleats in the back. This winter, try this beautiful pattern in Noisette wool for a very warm jacket. This look is perfect for everyday wear: an elegant wool jacket, Hussard trousers in Grège gabardine, pretty tan leather ballet flats, and a Tempête blouse in Lily Encre jacquard (much too pretty to be worn only in the evening, right?!).

        4. Cozy-chic look in Pam Coat (Intermediate level)

The Pam coat is a loose-fitting coat with a pretty shawl collar, which you'll love to curl up in all winter long. Its androgynous look is softened by the choice of soft and luminous hazelnut wool, and its slightly loose cut will be perfect when paired with the ultra-feminine Ludmilla dress in ecru knit.

          5. Sailor look in Tsar Coat ( Advanced level)

The Tsar coat is an elegant coat halfway between a pea coat, an officer's coat and a frock coat. Its very large collar has a lot of character, but what makes this pattern unique is its unusual buttoning, worked by a cutout in the front, which makes it go from double to single buttoning. To highlight Tsar's nautical DNA, I chose a pretty sailor's sweater, the Récif pants pattern in navy wool (the drape is amazing!) and a beautiful Hermès scarf whose touches of red recall the color code of the nautical style with navy blue.

            6. The Cliff Jacquard Coat (Intermediate Level)

The Cliff coat has a completely different look in jacquard. The quilted aspect of the Ecume jacquard and its ecru color act as a breath of fresh air in the grayness of winter, a bubble of softness in which to wrap yourself up. For this outfit, I focused on comfort: Tremplin cargo pants in khaki cotton satin, a chunky knit wool sweater and ranger-style ankle boots, it's an easy-going look that doesn't lack charm!

              Tips for Sewing Wool

Sewing a wool coat requires a few specific techniques to achieve an impeccable result. To master the particularities of this fabric, follow our detailed tutorials on each model:

              1. A perfect finish and well-defined collars : you will need to iron on your pieces as described on each of our patterns in order to properly define your coat bottom and sleeve hems, and give your collars hold.

              2. Suitable ironing : Use a steam iron with a damp cloth to avoid marking the wool.

              3. A suitable lining : We offer you a wide range of cupro linings. This is a material made from wood pulp, more breathable than polyester, and which is antistatic. This type of fabric which slides well is essential for lining the sleeves of your coats in particular.

By following these tips, you can make quality coats that are as beautiful as they are durable, while adding a personal touch with the buttons and accessories of your choice!
